I personally like the Beatles, and peoples' taste in music depends on the person. & If you are hating on a band JUST because of other reasons besides their sound, you're stupid. People like bands because of their music, sound, and lyrics, not because they are "cute" or whatever. If you're hating and judging based on not their music then that is just nonsense.

@ maria, people shouldn't be hating because they did drugs. All celebrities do drugs, and that's normal for fans and other celebs. Lil' Wayne does drugs, Billy Talent does, MCR, Eminem, Lindsay Lohan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more all do drugs. Hating a celeb just for doing drugs is dumb.

@ MonkeysAreSoGoodInTheForest, don't even compare the Beatles to the Jonas Brothers. That's absolutely ridiculous. Jonas Brothers aren't half as good as them.\

@Nintendo, to you it might sound weird and strange, but to others all of the Beatles' songs might be part of their life soundtrack. Maybe people need strange things to shake this world up. It's dull.

I love them to death, but I could give you a few reasons:

1. WAAAAYYYY too popular after that shitty Across the Universe movie

2. Some songs make me dizzy

3. Paul isn't that attractive

4. The fan base (most of them don't even listen to the REAL Beatles going back to the subject of that damned movie)

5. I'll give you one on the bad hair ._.

6. You sound retarded if you try to sing some of the songs

7. Playing the songs on your guitar/bass/keyboard whatever just doesn't sound the same!

8. People try to be the 'next Beatles' even though that's impossible ( pssshhh poseurs)

9. I think they could have come up with a better name for the band

10. People are stupid and think they should be together even though only Ringo and Paul are left, tell me....who the Hell would pay to see HALF of the Beatles?

for the record, i love the beatles, but...

1. the name is one of the worst in rock history. beat beetles beatles- can you believe the people that came up with that would go on to become fairly brilliant lyricists

2. the whole media attention/screaming girls thing

3. they didnt perform live during the best part of their career

4. two words: beatle boots

5. the bowing thing

6. they split up their albums for american releases to make more money (to be fair, they didnt want to, but their management did this)

7. because their music ended up giving money to a pedaphile (not their fault exactly, but it happened)

8. because they only gave harrison a couple songs an album- who knows what he might have produced if they let him write more

9. because julian lennon pretty much sucked and he never would have recorded if his daddy wasnt famous

I'm sorry, but there shouldn't be more than one reason for you to hate The Beatles; and that one reason would be that you don't like the music. Don't extend it farther than that. I don't encourage hatred.
