i wouldnt buy alfamega's album if he was still on T.I.'s label.. i didnt like him when he was on there and i still dont like him now. hes not a good rapper at all, he got signed with help, not talent. if he couldnt take care of his family bcuz his rap career aint go thru, then mcdonalds is always hiring. not every black man is made to rap.

That relies upon on what you're into. diverse labels have in yet differently inspired musicians and manufacturers. The status label has a lot of music that is similar to what Verve grew to become into recording. they might additionally be the comparable label, slightly below a various heading. I was once conscious of who owned each and every employer decrease back then, yet i haven't mandatory to bear in mind that for an prolonged time. while you're into the verve remasters of the 1940's era, then you definately might like like various the Blue notice albums of the 1950's. They call them the Rudy Van Gelder series. Rudy grew to become into the producer of the classic Blue notice albums that have been recorded in his studio (which grew to become into his mom and dad domicile interior the start) in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. there have been a lot of classics recorded there by using Rudy. in my opinion, I propose the Impulse Label recordings of the 1960's-1970's. Impulse grew to become into an exceedingly foreword looking label. the assumption grew to become into to no longer placed out albums that extra healthful a recipe for jazz making, yet rather to path blaze the way music grew to become into created. Their maximum in call for artist grew to become into John Coltrane. For present day stuff, you could check out the Verve artist Kurt Rosenwinkel, he's turning out to be preparation on the thank you to play music, and that i like to hearken to his albums, in my opinion. sparkling Sounds has placed out a chain with a lot of great music. Its called the Blue series. Their undertaking assertion speaks approximately mixing present day style of music to create a sparkling jazz. Time Berne, John Ellis, William Parker, Craig Taborn, all have great albums on that label. you will no longer pay attention music like it on the radio, except you pay attention to WKCR, everywhere.
