Reasonable Doubt---> Illmatic is a very overrated album in my eyes. People seem to like it b/c every rap critic does. I think that Reasonable Doubt is a more put together concept album than Illmatic

It Was Written---> My favorite album from Nas. Very well put together in all aspects and elements. In My Lifetime Vol a by Jay-Z is his worst album. Very bubble gum rap.

Vol 2 Hardknock Life ---> This was a hard one for me. But in the end Jay takes it. This album was a definite redemption from Vol 1. Jay ha more listenable tracks on this album.

Life and Times of S. Carter---> Nastradamus was Nas's worst album IMO. Tracks like Daddy's Girl was just horrible. So Jay takes it

The Black Album---> In my opnion I think The Black Album is very much underrated. This album was worthy of respect from track to track. And is a classic.

Street's Disciple---> Now IMO, Kingdom Come is not that bad of an album ppl make it out to be. but this Album from Nas is sick.

American Gangster---> Jay-Z really I'd a good job onthis concept album. Every song has an underlying meaning. Most of his songs weren't meant for mainstream popularity. He really took the idea of the movie American Gangster and put the movie into music. Hip Hop Is Dead just sparked too much controversy for my liking.

The Dynasty---> I like this album by Jay better b/c he really incorporated the Roc family in it. And the roc family is lyrical.

EDIT: Illmatic is an overated album, not saying it wasn't good, because it was great. Reasonable Doubt showcases the hunger and fire of the true Jay-Z, it was when he "had" to rap for a living. He was spitting rhymes like a mad man!!! Nas hadn't quite yet come into his flow yet, that didn't quite happen until "It Was Written:".
