Hand-raising a baby bird is tough work, but you kinda don't have a choice now. However, it will be bonded to you and a much better pet, and will sell for more if that's what you plan to do. Try to talk to a bird breeder who might be able to better tell you what to do.

Scroll about half-way down to where it says "handfeeding baby birds."
If you can't commit to doing this fully, you might want to give the bird to a breeder who is experienced in raising birds.
Good luck.

Ask a vet. It was a mistake to touch the bird but that can't be fixed. So as long as you figure out something everything will be fine.

u made a mistake by touching the baby. if it didn't want u to touch it, it wasn't ready. Now the parents will not pay attention to it because they think that u have kidnapped the baby against their (parents) will. in future, don't ever touch any animals young one against the parents an the individuals will.
