Please Help Worried About My Cats?
Ok so I have 4 cats, I have had them ranging from 2 years to 5 years. So they arent new to me. This morning I found that one of the cats had peed on a pair of my pajama pants that were lying on the floor. NONE of my cats have EVER gone outside their potty box. I havent changed litter brands, and I still clean their litter boxes everyday. I havent noticed any change when I clean their boxes either, its still the same amount I scoop out and everything. I havent changed their food or water or whatever. I have been gone from my house a lot more, but its been that way for over a month and this just happened today. I also havent noticed any different behavior in any of my cats. I am just really worried that one is sick! I have NO money to take them to the vet...what should I do?! Is there anything I should be looking for?
They are all strictly indoor cats as well...
And if it matters, I have one male cat and three female..I have had the male cat the longest though
And all of them are fixed
*kats* I said I clean the boxeS every day, I didnt say how many boxes I have or how many times I clean them in one day..also I said THEY ARE ALL FIXED I wouldnt just let them run around without being fixed...so try to read the question better ok?

Ok please don't panic. When a behavour problem like this occurs, it's usually something quite simple you can figure out. The peeing on your pajama's could just signify the need for more attention or he feels he's not getting the proper nutrients in his food. Although it could be signs of kidney, bladder some sort of infection. Also it could be (yes I know they're all fixed) signs of marking territory. You know how they can all be so territorial. I think they might be missing you and it can happen over a period of time. Cats know when we are gone, they just don't know how long, so time elapses are greater to them. Most likely the peeing is an indication of scent oriented, or attention getter. When we have multiple cats, sometimes they feel neglected. Make sure you use some feliway and get the odor completely out of the floor and pajama's using hydrogen peroxide after washing your clothes and/or floor use water and vineger and then use baking soda. This should prevent anymore accidents by any of your other babies. Just like your own kiddos! Love 'em and keep 'em happy.

Not sure this will help, but you could add, another litter box. This happen to someone I knew and that is what they did, was add, another litter box, and the problem of peeing, other then the littler box went away.
another through, is may be the litter box was in use, and the cat pee, where it was, at the time.
If it keeps happen, you should get a vet check, as some cats get urine track infections, and then turns, into kidney stones. This happen to my nieces male cat, who is a 5 year old.
Good Luck

Well 1st off you should have 1 cat box per cat and 2nd 4 cats in one house the cat Boxes need to be cleaned at lease 4 to 5 times a day cats don't like stepping on wast so if the box is dirty this could be the cats way of telling you . and you need to look in to getting the cats fix specially the male you should look in to some kind of friends of animals or no kill to see if they would help some of them will do it at no cost or little cost you need to look in your area even call the ASPCA the to will no of them .

Sometimes when your cats are old, that happens, but 2-5 years isn't old. are you sure that they had access to their litter box, maybe they couldn't get to it so they were forced to go on your pants. If not, im sorry but i cant really think of anything. Maybe try emailing petco. I did and they replied the next day.

Maybe the cat just had to go so bad it couldn't make it to the litter box.
