This is a long shot, help with iPod nano? Shuffling through all the songs without playing them?

Okay so there probably won't be many people available to help me, but today i tried to use my iPod nano (the newish nano) and when i clicked on one of the songs in my music it shuffled through each song really quickly (without playing, but it came up with the title, artist, and length of the song) and when it went through each song within the list it went back to the menu. i turned off shuffle and tried turning it on and off and it didn't do anything. i tried one of the games; it wasn't working. funny thing is, i had used it the day before and it worked fine, and i had used the iTunes library which held all the songs from the iPod that morning (playing it via computer) and they each worked flawlessly.. and if it helps i had approximately 150 songs on it and i've had it since December.

What should I try doing to get it back to normal?

OH NO ITS FU...D . no only jokin. hold the middle of your ipod and the bottom rim at same time for bout ten seconds this should reset it.next to stop this happening again download winamp.com this is free ok and 10000000 times better than itunes as you can use it with anyones ipod on any pc.and share your mates stuff etc. click winamp (make sure itunes is off but dont delete it till after you move all your stuff to winamp) top line on left you will see local media !. click it and move every thing on itunes files to it ok .plug in ipod and on same list about ten down your ipod will pop up. click on it and every thing you want will be there reset ready for you. if you want films to ipod make sure they are down loaded in mp4 they take about 3 mins to down load straight to ipod .100 songs takes about 2 mins go have fun
