Who is your favorite Indy Car driver past or present?
This can be any Indy Car Series, Cart, Champ Car and Fed Ex Championship Driver(s). Mine is Michael Andretti - Never had much luck at the brickyard but he rules at the Milwaukee Mile. And since 2005 I follow Danica Patrick. I know she is a hot head but she is a competitor and she will win the 500 very soon. I have been a Michael Andretti fan since 1985. Never was a fan of his dad Mario.

***Well, back in the day, I was a huge A J Foyt, Mario Andretti, Rick Mears, and Bobby and Al Unser fan. Today, I like Danica Patrick, because she is sort of a 'hot head' by not letting people walk all over her. She kinda reminds me of A J Foyt, who was my all time fav.

My favorite driver in the present is Marco Andretti. He proved that he can drive in his rookie year by finishing 2nd in the 2006 Indy 500 (second closest finish ever) and becoming the (then) youngest driver to win a major open-wheel race. Hopefully he can be the one to break the "Andretti Curse" at Indy this year. My favorite driver from the past would probably have to be Ayrton Senna or Mario Andretti.

My favorite driver from the past would be either Nigel Mansell or Emerson Fittipaldi.
My favorite current driver would be either Marco Andretti or Graham Rahal

Rick Mears has always been my man in Indy Cars. I was sure that he would have been the first man to win Indy 5 times, but alas, he decided that he would retire. Too bad for all of us fans, but he was great to watch race!

Past driver(s)..toss up between Al Unser Jr. and Ayrton Senna.
...I know Senna was F1 but he was an absolute Master at OWR.
Currently, I like Dario Franchitti.

Sam Hornish Jr. best ever he kick Marco Andretti's *** in the Indy 500, best moment ever and it was in front of Michael, poor man.
Now SH Jr. sucks at NASCAR, but he was the best at INDY CAR.
