Have you ever been cheated on by a significant other?

Sigh, yes.

I was so mad, so hurt, upset. He gave me a stupid excuse for it too, but in the end he ended up making me feel guilty and well I was still with him after that.

It took me a long while to trust him though, we ended up fighting but then there came a time where I honestly did not care anymore, and just forced myself on trusting him. It worked, but then we fought on other things..

The main reason why I took him back was probably because I was just ..weak. I kept telling myself how I'm just giving him a second chance because everyone deserves it.

Now that I think about it, I regret not breaking up with him but hey, we can all learn from our mistakes, right?

Anyways, right now he and I aren't together.

Yes but he does not think I know.. (I play the dumb card once in awhile)... it was early on in our relationship... Yes I forgave him.. I understood the emotions and uncertainty...and to be honest, full trust was not yet established between us... if it happened now I would still forgive - but the relationship would end..

Longer term - I was cheated on too, by a husband... I never forgave him.. It was the lies surrounding the cheating that I could not get over, not so much the cheating itself... once trust is established - you have to maintain it, if it goes away because of cheating the relationship rarely recovers...

I've been cheated on twice. The last GF that cheated on me, I don't think I will ever forgive her.

yes i've been cheated on,and didn't think twice about staying with them,i was out..he wasn't thinking about me when he cheated,so why should i ever think about them enough to forgive them?i know there are some people that would forgive and stay,but by doing that your just letting them know that down the road they can do it again..LET HIM GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
