Ok, im finished with my poem! what do yall think?

April 23, 1564,

John and Mary shakespeare had their first son.

His name was William, his work we adore.

He wrote many plays... thirty - six plus one.

What lovely words Shakespeare was known to write,

his work is still admired to this day.

He wrote of beauty and love at first sight,

wrote some about his wife, Anne Hathaway.

He stopped writing around 1613;

died April twenty-third 1616

because he ate a bad pickled herring,

too bad they didn't make sure it was clean.

So this is Shakespears life in a nutshell;

I worked hard on this, I hope I don't fail!
