I think you would be the only one that would be able to assess which laptop is best suited for you. What I would suggest to you is to scout around, search online and see what is available on the market. At the same time you can get a better idea of the prices as well.

You can then see what the specs are that you would be able to afford from your budget. You also need to decide for yourself if the make is more important or if the specs are.

It's like buying a pair of sneakers... you can either buy you a pair of sneakers that is locally manufactured and cost less, but serves the same purpose... or you can buy you an expensive branded pair of sneakers.

At the end of the day, it's what you would want and what you would be using it for...

well i think a DELL STUDIO because my sister has a 17 inch screen and the laptop is very good i sugest you getting one, but it could be a bit pricey... but you could always get a 15 inch... and order it off the DELL website because you can like choose what you want in the laptop like how much memory, screen resoloution ect...

You can use studio 14 Laptop from Dell. It is with a latest one.

the only pc i would buy would either have windows xp or would have it put on it. NOT VISTA. Macs are better though and do support xp or vista, but has a higher tag.

But I would suggest ACER w/XP

get any laptop and put windows xp on it instead of vista.
