What magic tricks would you like explained?

Shpeer, the coin is really in the magicians hand the whole time, when he puts his hand behind your ear he is hiding the coin in his palm and then produces it in his fingers when he pulls his hand form behind your ear

sean b, he was behind a screen that cast his shadow that clever lighting (basically moving it backward) made it look as though he disappeared into the wall, he then sneaked onto the boom carrying the camera over to the other side of the wall, they put up a new screen (but he wqas already on the other side) where the light casting the shadows made it look as if he was coming out of the wall again

smrtrthn.., usually like this; the Elephant is put into a large enclosure which is made up of beams. Hidden inside the beams are thin mirrors. The door of the enclosure is shut. While this is taking place (and some other misdirection hocus pocus) the Elephant is led out of the enclosure by a back door. There is a puff of smoke which hides the fact that mirrors are extracted form the beams and reflect the suroundings (which are similar to the interriour of the enclosure) It looks as if the elephant has vanished instantly. When the door is opened and no Elephant is in therre it seems to confirm the he vanished in a puff of smoke

Elsie, a Woman is put into a box and her feet are locked in place. When the lid is shut she removes her feet from the restraint (which allows her more room to get free than it first appears) and she pulls her legs up until her knees touch her chest. This allows the magician to saw through the box without touching her. The blades are put in place and the boxes pulled apart, the girl is in the first box with her head sticking out and her legs pulled right up to her chest. When the boxes are put together again she simply lowers her legs so she is lying flat again (sometimes a false pair of legs are used in the bottom half of the box so that you see a pair of feet sticking out)

Helios, Houdini is put into the water tank and padlocks are used to secure the lid. The pins holding the hinges however are removed by the assistants, this means the lid can still be opened. A black shroud is lowered over the glass case. When the shroud is obscuring the view from the public he takes a breath of air by pushing the lid open with his head, he loweres his head into the container again as the bottom of the shroud is lifted so it appears like he is still struggling to get out. When it is back in place he snaps open the cuffs (which are trick cuffs) and then makes his way out of the glass case and on to the top. When the shroud is lifted up he appeas as if by magic to be standing free on the top of the water filled tank

Tara O, lots of ways to make things appear and disappear, usually by thin threads which run up th magicians arms or inside his jacket which are snapped tight when he moves his arms and whip the object away. Coins can also be flicked up sleeves by a snap of the wrist

Maldavi, a card that the magician wants selected is forced on to the subject. The magician puts it back into the pack. He throws the cards at the window of the cafe which has been selected as a location beforehand. The cards simply bounce off of the window. A person inside the cafe (who is an accomplice) has a duplicate card in their hand with a spot of gum on the back. Under the cover of the cards hitting the window they reach out and stick the card on the inside of the pane It looks a if the chosen card has travelled through the glass pane and stuck to the other side.

Marie ♥s LJ (again), thinking it over there are two probable ways I can see of doing this trick, one is that he is put into the trash can and uses escopology to get out of the chains and cuffs (which are often trick chains and cuffs) and then somene with roughly the same build, facial features and is dressed the same appears on top of the building (you see him from a distance so you only notice the similarities) The other is if he is put into a sack or something that hides his face there is an interchange beween him and someone of roughly the same build and a switch is made when the camera is of him (even if it is just for a second) and then the real magician makes his way to the top of the building while the double (who of course doesn't have to be an exact double) makes his escape.
