How do i hyperlink inside a zip folder using front page?

I have a folder inside my c drive and all of my hyperlink folders/files are in that one folder. I tried to copy that folder into a zip and try a hyperlink on one of the pages but the references of the hyperlinks go back to my c drive, not the zip.

When u try to name the address in the hyperlink dialogue box you cant go inside a zip either, so what/ how do i do it?

(i want this to be able to work if i chucked the zip on a cd or upload to the net etc.)

You want to link to files inside of a zip file? Sorry, but, setting that up would not be worth the trouble. Zip files are not at all like folders. On Windows XP you can view them just as folders, but in reality they are files containing compressed files. Your server would have to uncompress each file every time someone accessed it. I'm not incredibly sure if there's a way to set it up, probably is using PHP, but it would not be easy and would slow down your site.

Sorry if I misunderstood, feel free to add.

The ZIP file format is a data compression and archive format.

So basicly a Zip is a file of files/folders.

To make a zip it is recommended that you have

WinRar or WinZip, which can be downloaded.

Once you have one of those programs, right click on the folder that you want to zip and select add to Zip or add to archive. if it asks for a file type, choose zip.

When you are doing the hyperlinking, you will need to upload the file to the web first, and then link to its location on the web.

Yes, but you would need to break the picture up into pieces and then attach the hyperlink to the piece that holds the point. If you do the page in Flash, it's really easy. You just place an invisible button on the part of the picture.
