2 Female dogs in heat?

Dont answer if you are being rude...Is it normal for 2 females in heat to fight? I have no male dogs but the 2 females i have its there first heat and they seem to fight now... im guessing when they are done they will stop?

Update:

its a simple answer...Im not fixing them for a few more months i do know all the health benifits...just a simple answer will work..

its a mother and daughter crazy they are in heat together...

    yes its normal and they can fight very viciously during this time when they otherwise would be best of friends just due to hormones and the urge to mate, so be careful when having them together.

    Perfectly normal. I would say that it is better to keep them apart, if possible, during this stage. Sometimes things can get serious and one of them might get hurt. At a time convenient to you, you might get them spayed. Also make sure that you keep them away from unwanted male dogs at this time. It is amazing how ingenious a dog in heat can get at times. You don't want an accident to occur.

    b*tch fights can be very vicious, i would try to seperate the 2 dogs while in heat. it might go back to normal once they are done, unless one has a false pregnancy. also as they mature their hormones can make them more prone to be territorial and aggressive.

    don't leave them together without supervision.

    get them fixed, its a simple answer but they will just keep fighting and you might have some vet bills if one gets hurt, also the bleeding.
