any suggestion on a 5 nights 5 days trip in Bali?
am planning to stay at both Kuta-Legian area and Ubud area, can anyone suggest how many the days and nights should be split btw the places? and place to visit along the way?

5 days is really pushing it for Bali. Kuta and the surroundings are a huge tourist trap but it is a good one. You could spend your entire trip in either spot and have lots of fun. party in Kuta and more cultural stuff in Ubud. good shoping in both places with more art and better choices in Ubud. Of course Kuta has the beach right there. Ubud has beautiful country side and the monkey forrest. Many temples etc.
So..
Give 3 days to Kuta and the rest to Ubud. You will not have time for the place to visit along the way but there are lots of things to do and you won't be missing out on to much.

You might consider the Gili islands or Padang Bai as alternatives to both Kuta and Ubud.
But I must say Ubud is one of my favorite places in the world.
