Will there be an Idol gives back episode this year?

I really hope there will be one.

    Seacrest announced a couple of weeks ago that there wouldn't be an "Idol GIves Back" this year. The producers thought that given the state of the ecomony, that to ask viewers for donations at this time wouldn't be the best idea.

    sadly, no, for some strange reason they decided to not do idol gives back this year
