In folklore Dwarves and Dark Elves mine and amass fortunes. They do not grant wishes. I want to point out Wagner's Ring of the Niebelungs here where the Dwarf Alberich, by stealing the Rhine Maidens' Treasure, sets in motion a chain of events which ultimately leads to the destruction of the Gods.
I don't want to suggest that Dwarves are always bad -- you can DEFINITELY argue the Rhine Maidens provoked poor Alberich with their sexual teasing. But I really can't imagine anyone in their right mind just thinking some dwarf is gonna make them rich. It doesn't work that way.

Nah, in most stories dwarves are resistant to magic and kind of anti-magic in mind set. Ergo, no wishing granting. Move along.

No leprechauns grant wishes. Legend says that at the end of every Rainbow, there is a pot of gold just waiting for you to get your hand on it.
Or is just a legend?

If you help a dwarf grow a foot taller, he will grant u one wish. But in order to gain this wish you must touch and suck his magical genitals. when the pixie dust cums out, u'll know when to stop.
