Female Fairytale & Story Book Fancy Dress costume Ideas:

Snow White

Very distinctive costume that is a very popular costume choice. Many style available to suit all figures. The traditional costume is a long dress but there are plenty of short and sexy versions on the market. Normally worn with a black bob.

Tinker Bell

Tiger Lilly

Tiger Lilly is a squaw living in Never Land. Many lady indian outfits are available to purchase and this is an easy costume to wear for all dress shapes and sizes.

Wendy

Wendy and her brothers visit Never Land with Peter Pan. All you need for this character is an old fashioned nightgown, although this may be quite chilly in our weather.

Mermaids live in Mermaid Lagoon in Peter Pan. This costume is normally quite tight fitting with a large 'fish tail' hem so may not be suitable for school book week.

Alice in Wonderland

From the Novel C S Lewis called 'Through The Looking Glass'. An easily recognisable costume that consists of a blue dress, white full pinafore and headband. Various designs are available from traditional calf length to short and sexy. A blonde, bob wig will finish the character.

From 'Alice in Wonderland'. Costumes do vary but normally comprise of a red and white dress with hearts. A costume that could be easily put together without the need to hire.

Princess

There are many Princesses in Fairytale, story book characters. They include; Repunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Princess and the Pea and A Fairytale Princess. All the dresses are based on a medieval type of costume and can be adapted to each character. For example, Repunzel would also need a very long wig.
