2004 Volks wagon Golf 1600cc service light?

how do you turn off the service light. had car serviced but light is still on when starting

    press and hold the o,o button on the clocks, while holding down turn on your ignition then press the min button and let off your o,o button and this should set it! its complicated tho!

    its broken or the sensor is not reconizing the tune up.
