sata hdd not being seen in xp install?
fitted a new sata hard drive to a laptop and the xp install doesnt see the hard drive, whats wrong

You will need to install the drivers for the SATA drive. This is done by inserting the XP installation disk and pressing the F6 key when prompted to install 3rd. party drivers. For full instructions how to do this:
