Would you consider having paper flowers at your wedding instead of real flowers?

Why or why not? If you used them, would you want to use them in combination with real flowers?

Paper flowers are acceptable and can look quite handsome. However if you choose to use both paper and fresh, do not mix them in the same arrangement, though you could get away with mixing in dried flowers, purple status or babies breath.

Use the paper flowers with a purpose, to ensure that the use of them does not appear as though you were trying to cut corners. For example- low profile centerpieces, or flanking the alter and/or entryway of the reception. That way they can be something you’ll be proud of and you did it to reflect your eclectic personality. Also, they will become keepsakes.

Have you thought about trying to incorporate sick flowers into your arrangements? Their quality has changed, and can be made to look very realistic when added with real flowers and the cost is much less. Many people are having their bridal bouquet done in silk so they can preserve it as a special memento of their special day. Many are having a shadow box made with their bouquet, their invitation, toasting glasses, and a wedding photo.

Some papers flowers are absolutely beautiful, but they'd have to be spectacular to trump real flowers...but then there are some very talented people who can make spectacular paper flowers.

No, I wouldn't. This isn't a shower, this is your wedding. If you can't afford flowers, maybe you need to decide on a different wedding. Paper would be just too tacky. Sorry to say this but it just isn't done.

Unless budget is important or tight, I would go with real. It's your big day! Make it amazing. But if you're all for fake flowers, go for it. Its your wedding. do what you want
