Why doesn't my camera work?

I have a 2.3 mega-pixel camera that will for some reason will not work with rechargeable batteries. I thought the batteries were bad at first and returned them to the store for more. When the second ones didn't work I decided to put them in something else just to see if it was the batteries. It wasn't. The batteries were charged and working fine. I have never seen anything that does not work with rechargeable batteries. Does anyone have any idea why the camera will not work with them and can I resolve the problem without buying a new camera..lol I would greatly appreciate your input.

2.3 mega pixel is an old camera. My phone has a 2 mega pixel camera on it. You should buy a new camera, you can get a Cannon 10 mega pixel for 129.99 on Amazon.com. model A1000IS.

There is something wrong with your camera call the company and tell them about your problem then ask for a refund or replacement. In my opinion your camera isnt that great in the first place. My phone was $150 and it has a 5mp camera. You can get some great cameras at low prices you just have to look into it. It is best to get a camera above 7mp. Good luck!!!

Check how much output does the batteries give and whats recommended. Read the manual about the NiMH requires.
