Tobacco Laws and Attitudes?

Do you believe that the barrage of legislation which has recently been passed, and that is continuously being passed, which imposes continuously greater restrictions on tobacco use and continuously growing taxes on it, is a good thing or do you believe that it is over-kill? Why or why not?

personally, i think that they're overdoing it with this new tax increase. it takes like 17 cents i believe to produce a pack of cigarettes. 7.25 a pack is RIDICULOUS. that's over seven dollars they make. its horrible.

I think the powers that be are taking away to many of my liberties. Tobacco is not illegal, yet I am made to feel like a second class citizen because I smoke. Its ridiculous, you can't even smoke in a bar.
