In the finale of SUPERNATURAL, what was the ending supposed to mean?
It was an unexpected ending with more than one possibility. I'm still trying to figure it out. Does anyone have any thoughts on it?

Lucifer is going to come out of that bright light from the ground. My question is what's going to happen with Sam and Dean. Will Lucifer make Sam stay when he gets up there, or will Sam and Dean leave together. And what did Ruby mean by it always had to be you. Were the other psychic kids just red herrings of sorts?

All the seals were broken, so here comes Lucifer. I think some of the top angels have been corrupted, or may really be demons. Lower angels like Castiel either don't know or don't like it. I wonder if the show will dare have either God or Jesus get involved, since Lucifer is on his way up?

The bright light i'm guessing is what you mean.
Far as i gather it's Lucifer breaking free from the seal of hell. Next season should show us Lucifer walking free on earth.
