Maple story private server issues. Loads black screen then closes.?
I've been having an Immense amount of issues with private servers. I played regularly about 6 months ago, then quit. Recently I've wanted to get back into private servers. I downloaded the required version of maple, and then the clients. Extracted them correctly [ i think ] Then I go to play and it looks like it's loading. It opens a black screen where you think NEXON is going to pop up, but then it just closes and I'm back to looking at my desktop. If you have any idea of how I can fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

It means you don't have the proper version installed for that private server. For example, you could have version 60 installed, and have a private server that needs version 52. Just google the correct version and download it in a SEPRATE folder, and copy all the nexon files (gameguard, etc) in the folder with the version required. It worked for me :]
