celebs asking questions on yahoo answers?

i don't think it's them (e.g. owen wilson, jennifer aniston etc), so it could be their publicists or just fans... they only ask 1 question, and don't answer any...

any thoughts? could it really be them but they only have time for one question?...

It's not them. They can't possibly have the time or desire to take out of their schedules to post a single question and then ignore the replies it gets. Even if it was them, why use their real names and an actual picture of themselves as their profile? If a celeb was online doing stuff like that, they would be under an alias that no one would suspect.

Its not them, you can tell by reading there profile they talk about themselves in 3 party like Jennifer Aniston start in the hit TV comedy series Friends etc so it is a PR person

There people who have nothing else to do with there lives so they go on Yahoo Answers and try tricking people into thinking their real celebs.

I do think it's the real person because if you think about it, they don't ask that many questions because they've got work and they need to go through thousands of answers to pick a best one. If they answer a question, the asker will automatically choose their answer to be the best answer (if they like that celebrity).

Personally, I don't think celebrities get an 'Official' Badge unless they're checked through by Yahoo! Answers and made sure that they are that celebrity. They probably ignore all these people who pretend to be celebrities by a system or whatever.

Its got to be there publicists. They are so well publicised on here, even if it were really them asking the q's its only for the publicity.

Go to this link. This question was asked. The link shows the question's best answer. Click on the link of the best answer. This link shows celebrity questions. Obama has asked a question before. The best answer to this question say's go to Special Guests and it says Obama asked a question. This link also say's this, "these users have an "official" badge below their avatar and on their profile page". I have seen Obama's and Jennifer Aniston's avatar with a green official badge.

Could be just them.... but they generally don't have a lot of time, I'm assuming. I'd bet it's a fan.

If I was a celebrity on Y!A, I'd make up a fake name and put an avatar that looked nothing like me, though.

I'm guessing Yahoo ring up their publicist and ask for a question.

I find it rather facile and I cannot imagine they really get 67 + stars!!!

I thought it was just a publicity thing. Either totally made up (possibly with their permission) or they ask them to submit one question, which probably gets thought up by their agent or even their agent's secretary.

You never know, I think if it was them they would have an alias.

Who knows, they are just mere people too and will have questions like the rest of us.

    Have a great day!
