tesla roadster chassis?

does the tesla roadster and the lotus elise share the same chassis? i saw both today in downtown vegas and noticed a lot of similarities in general body shape and dimension wise the look very close.

    Yes.

    The Lotus Elise shares the chassis with Lotus Exige, Dodge Circuit, Tesla Roadster, and Lotus Europa.

    They all use the same chassis, suspension, and wheel size.

    Yes, they do. Lotus did most of the design work on the Roadster.
