Afro American flag? Mexican American flag? Did you guys know about this?
I was looking at national flags when I came across them.
The Afro American flag seems to be more universally known as I found it on several websites

I never knew they had flags like such. Besides those two flags, there are flags for all the different segments for native americans, and that's all that I have found.
Was I just completely oblivious (to the existence of these flags), and that this is common knowledge? Or are these items unheard of?
Of course I remember you, the name doesn't throw me off.
@ant boogie, thanks on the clarification on that.
It seems the afro american flag is well known and has been here for a while, I'm not sure how I missed that.
The mexican american flag, I'm guessing is relatively new.

It's not a "Mexican American" flag. It was a flag used by the United Farm Workers and Cesar Chavez in the 60s and 70s. It is supposed to represent the pyramids in Mexico not the swastika and the huelga bird which has Aztec historic meanings behind it.
The huelga bird is still used by the Nuestra Familia prison gang of Northern Cali (also since the 70s). Not La Eme prison gang of Southern Cali.

That man was a AMERICAN VETERAN like me, not a weird guy but a man that takes pride in what he did, he had every right to do what he did. To bad some of the people do not have the courage to go and do what some of us have done, they would rather call us weird guys,or look down at us for standing up for what is right, there should be more out there like us. I only wonder how may people in Reno drove by and only laughed when they saw the flags flying like that, and now are saying this man was wrong for taking the flag, well for all you people thinking that way rest assured that AMERICAN flag has a better home now,and honestly it did my heart good to see the Mexican rag laying on the ground..................

I knew about the african american flag, but not the mexican flag
I think the nazis stole the eagles from the mexicans, because they also have a flag that resembles a Norwegian Flag

The Huelga flag was used as a rally point for the UFW. Now I m fairly certain the National Hispanic Institute uses the Huelga flag like the Nazis used their swastika, as a display of "racial supremacy".
