which one would you choose and why??

Yea, sanda has some take downs and wrestling elements which muay thai does not

Sanshou because of the throws and takedowns. But it's hard to find a school teaching that - at least in my area. You could take boxing and judo. That would be somewhat similar.

Muay Thai by far a better striking art.
San shou is kickboxing with Chinese wrestlen
San shou would most likely win in a street
fight or a mma fight

I would choose San shou. It is basically kickboxing with the bonus of several takedowns and less rules. The best part about San Shou for me, though, is that I can use kung fu, as it is just a form of kung fu.
