Hey Barbie,
First of all, my childhood was one of eating dinner every other night and sharing a bed with my little sister to save heat.

Wow, Angel Barbie, that's a bit harsh! Camp can be a great experience but truth be told it isn't for everyone. However I may be a bit biased since I work at a summer camp. Anyway to answer the question, I went to boy scout camp when I was a kid and I've worked in camps for over 8 years and one of my favorite camp memories would have to be when my son learned to walk.
Yup, that's right! My 1 one year old boy stood up in the middle of the dining hall and took his first steps. The dining hall stood quiet and with over 300 campers and 100 of my staff and friends watching he walked on over. It was a great moment and I'm glad I had these great friends to experience it with me.
On the other hand I do remember a little prank I participated in when I was counselor. We moved all of the small crafts boats, kayaks, canoes, sail boats over to the flag raising area. Let me just say we got quite the laugh the next morning at flag raising. Oh well all in good fun right! We had to put it all back prior to activities.
