It almost looks like a Trinidad Chevron Tarantula

Not a jerkface is correct.
this spider belongs to the salticidae family,
and is a phidippus audax species (the teal green chelicrae
give this one away) commonly called a daring jump spider.
these are totally harmless, an very reluctant to bite.
they are easy to handle, and spider lovers seem to favor these.

dude it looks like it has a bit Tarantula genes in it
