i got the card but, I'll be darned if I can figure out how it gets brought out?

You must have the land card "Dark Depths" in play, and meet the requirements on the card.
The cards sell from $1 to $4, just depends on where you look.

Oracle text: Dark Depths comes into play with ten ice counters on it.
3: Remove an ice counter from Dark Depths.
When Dark Depths has no ice counters on it, sacrifice it. If you do, put an indestructible legendary 20/20 black Avatar creature token with flying named Marit Lage into play.
