cucumbers into plckles?
My husband cut up fresh cucumbers and put them into pickle juice he saved, how long should he leave them in before they will taste like pickles?

tell him to add 2 oz.`s of white vinegar to his mixture and taste them every 7 days, usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to get close to store bought pickles.

You can start eating them any time. The flavor will be lighter and milder than processed pickles but quite tasty.

you use vinegar instead of pickle juice.
i think pickle juice is vinegar with some cucumber juice or something.

That probably won't work that well but I would say maybe a week for them to soak up flavor.

It is really easy and tasty and involves no cooking. Also it is really good with thinly sliced carrots in it.
