I wanna find the area of an irregular shape.
Am I supposed to split the irregular up into simple shapes I know, like rectangles and trianges, and find the area. Then add all the areas together to find my total area?
OR
Am I supposed to find the perimeter of each simple shape and then add those together?

It has n sides, makes (n-2) triangles, then measure the sides of the
triangles.
Every triangle has sides of a,b,and c
Call (a+b+c)/2=p
then the area of EACH triangle is
[p(p-a)(p-b)(p-c)]^1/2
then add them up.
GOOD LUCK.
