No you have to pass in your classes. He will have to attend summer school and pass to move on. Talk to his teachers now and ask for all extra credit you can muster to make sure he passes Math and Science. You will have to become a different mom, serving hard love to him. Set the rules and make sure he finishes all homework before he does anything else. He obviously has the smarts, why is he not advancing in those subjects? His teachers will tell you the reasons he is slacking. You need to get involved now even though it may be too late.

Um you take the Leap test in 4th grade, 8th grade, and 10th grade.

There shouldnt be any Leap test expect iLeap in other grades excluding those. I just toke the Leap and passed it. If your failing 2 subjects, which means you dont have enough points which is 6 points at the end of the year, yes he will have to go to summer school.

espically for math, not so much science but maybe no.

they can put him in summer school if they see fit, if not he probably passed. usually kids who fail math and science fail the leap test. be ready for summer school though.
