for the past five days i've been dreaming about a guy i used to like. in all of the dreams he hasnt had a major part, but in all of them he has stared at me.

It could possibly mean that you feel some unresolved emotions about him still. Maybe you never had the courage to tell him how you felt and you're subconciously wondering 'what if?'
