When you consider a person a friend...?

Do you always consider that person your trusted friend, in spite of his/her betrayal???

The only unconditional love is that of a dog.

Everyone else needs to continue to earn it.

It depends on how deep the betrayal was..

If it was not that severe, I'd be able to forgive, probably.

If it was really, really bad, on the other hand, I would most definitely no longer see that person as a friend, no.

I too have limits for how much sh*t I can possibly take.

Friends can be trusted or demoted to acquaintance with one betrayal because friends don't betray trusted friendships.

I think after betrayal, it makes you really turned of by that person.

Yeah you continue being Friends with them but even she knows that its not gonna feel the same as before, and you wont be as open with her as before.

Once a trusted friend betrays my trust, they then become only an acquaintance. I will never trust them enough again to call them friend, although I do forgive them.

No, a friend to me is someone I know I can trust.

if they can betray me, they never were a real friend, just a fraud and a fake for letting me think they could be trusted.
