Unlocking Sony Ericsson ? UK BTW?

So i've given my Sony Ericsson K850i to my brother.. but its locked onto Orange, how can you unlock it to O2?

I know you can unlock it at the shop but is it free because the phones over 12months old...? i read that on a phone site so i dont know.

Or any online sites that can do it.

Thanks :)

Hi the simplest & safest way to get the phone unlocked is to take it to your local market stall & get it unlocked there ! it should only cost around £10 to have done & it will be unlocked to all networks including "3" personally speaking i wouldnt use any sort of site through the internet ! once you've unlocked the phone what your need to do is go to either the o2 store or o2 website to get the new settings for mms & the internet so that you can still send & recieve picture messages & still access the internet ... hope this helps

you ought to use the cable featuring it and gadget called Omnius application it then facilitates you to connect the telephone and carry out the unfastened up in seconds. Its no longer unfastened yet I incredibly have used it on many telephones alongside with E15i on orange. see the links under for added information and video demos.
