in the WII game animal crossing city folk is there a trick to getting a coconut to grow?

For coconut trees, use the rules for other trees, not too close to walls, to other trees, etc but also, the best place to plant is where the grass/ground meets the sand, on the ground side, or on the pieces of land that jut out into the water. Even in the optimum spots, sometimes they will not grow.

With a little experimentation you will find where else you can plant coconuts. I have two rows of coconut trees making a path going up from the beach all the way to almost where the path goes to the upper level, quite far from the beach.

I never watered my coconut trees. Never had to water trees in the old AC, so didn't think about it for City Folk. I water my flowers (sometimes even when they aren't dying), have about a zillion, lots of pretty hybrids. Supposedly it might help to water after planing flowers to make hybrids.

Well their kinda is a trick but don't take my word for it.

1. Plant it near the Sea/Ocean, and water them like a bunch of times. Probably as soon as you plant the coconut tree, start to water them 8-10 times. But make sure you don't dig them up or run over them!!!

Once you make it pass the first day, then you got a coconut tree in about 3-4 days.

Hi! I've found the best way to plant and grow healthy palm trees in AC is this.

Plant the seed ON the LINE where the ground turns to sand. ON the line.
