American Idol Question...?

Question

As another season of Idol winds to a close, I thought we should take a glance into the past and honor the last 7 seasons along with the amazingness of this one. 

So, here are my two questions:

1) What are a couple of your favorite Idol Performances ever (from seasons 1-7)???

2) What are a couple of your favorite Idol Performances from this season (8)???

1)  Favorite Idol performance ever would have to have been Clay Aiken when he sang Bridge Over Troubled Water.  Although Kelly Clarkson is my favorite past Idol.

2)  My favorite Idol performance this year was Adam Lambert's song Mad World.  He is the most talented Idol of all time and I'll be voting for him tonight until my finger goes numb.

A1 - I did like John Stevens doing Dean Martin.   Constantine M's Bohemian Rhapsody

A2.  - my fav this year was Adam's Ring of Fire - partially for his performance and parially because of Simon's reaction ;D  and Allison's Alone.  

Slightly off topic but my fav performance on a reality show was Susie McNeil's Bohemian Rhapsody on Rock Star INXS with the Gospel Choir rocking out with her -
