Anybody else thinks the officiating sucked tonight?
First physical play is allowed. Then it's not. Then it is again. How can anyone, let alone the players adjust to such crappy, inconsistent calls?
Your thoughts?

They let the physical play go both ways. The Only real bad NON call of the night was missing Billups stepping on the line on his last three pointer. That could have caused a different outcome, completely if Denver could have gotten the ball back without sending Kobe to the line for two. That was a bad NON call the official was looking right down the line.

i was gonna ask if officiating has gotten worse this season. i mean all playoff long there has been horrible calls and inconsistency.
there were more reach ins than shooting fouls. and there were about 500 slaps that connected tonight.

I agree. I actually liked how it was being officiated for a good stretch were players were actually allowed to play defense on Kobe, despite all of his flopping and screaming. Denver got some good steals and it was fair, hard basketball.
In that fourth quarter, it became inconsistent again, it became a freethrow shooting contest.
