Nothing much in the Movie Industry in NZ unless you get in with Peter Jackson.

You'll have some research to do.... You could do everything yourself instead of going through an agent. You need to work out if you qualify to live and work in NZ. See the following websites for info:::

The Essential Skills In Demand Lists are the Long Term Skill Shortage List (LTSSL) and the Immediate Skill Shortage List (ISSL).

If you meet the minimum point threshold of 100, complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI). https://www.immigration.govt.nz/Registration/defau... Only one application per family is required. Each fortnight a selection point is announced. If you score at or above the selection point, your application will be processed and you will be contacted by an immigration officer assigned to you.

Tainruad... is probably right. Our country's officials would see no reason to allow you or your wife into the country (except as tourists) under the present economic climate.

    However, you could try.

I've no idea who you could contact, but it's probably a good idea to start with your nearest NZ embassy or the NZ Embassy in Haymarket in London.

Do NOT deal with anyone who is not officially accredted by the NZ Government.

I think if you tried the Govt website, it may give you a few ideas, at least it will tell you who your nearest official representative is.

New Zealand works on a points system, which takes in to account your qualifications, education etc. You would get more points and be more likely to gain a work permit if you work in one of the fields the country has a shortage of qualified people.

That said, I believe you can check your points online as well as apply through the official NZ immigration website.

    Good luck!

You have no show of moving to NZ, there is a recession on, your jobs are not on the shortage list, people already in New Zealand are having their work permits rejected when they come up for renewal.

Sorry, but that's the truth, try Canada
