Who is the homeless man in the background on The Today Show every day?
He is a black gentleman, I think i heard them refewr to him as Lenny once. He is on there everyday when they do the on the street portions.

Oh I thought you meant here in Australia.... He is a big fan of the show in the USA.
He's been coming down to the Plaza every morning since September 1994, and he has only missed a handful of shows over the past 13 years. He rises each day at 3:30 a.m. at his home in the Bronx, heads for the subway by 4:40 a.m., and arrives at Rockefeller Center around 6 a.m.

He's not homeless. Lenny is addicted to the Today Show and lives close by and goes there every day. He's their #1 fan. They acknowledge him quite often.....and even brought only him inside one day when it was pouring rain.

He's a homeless man and could also be paid to show up every show... or he likes the attention.
