    C.

My definition says, "A condition in which a population in a given location neither increases nor decreases over time. The increases due to births and immigration are balanced with decreases caused by deaths and emigration."

It has nothing to do with population density, so e. is not correct.

    c. you and your spouse just replace the two of you. This is an idea that was born in the late sixties.

This is practiced in China, for obvious reasons. They go so far as to do late term abortions.

Actually it's the birth rate plus the immigration rate equals the death rate plus the emigration rate.

But from your list, c would be the closest to being correct.
