Does drinking vinegar make your stomach hurt?

I heard it clears up your sinuses so I drank it, now my stomach hurts. Is it because of that? I thought it was supposed to make you feel good.

That is common. I used to have the same feeling when I drink vinegar (not a lot, maybe spoon full). I hope you didn't drink too much, lol.. It will go away apparently. If you soaked meat into a vinegar, you will notice that the vinegar actually cooked the meat, so when you drink it, it's probably trying to cooked those bacteria, phlegm inside. Since your immune system is weak, the vinegar is strong enough to make you feel sick and causes stomach pain, but you feel better somehow... I usually drink it when I have a bad cough and it helps...

Edit: That's the same feeling that you get anytime you drink a vinegar. So there's no surprise there... Best suggestion that I can give you, is the pickle juice. I think there's a small amount of vinegar added into it. I like to drink the juice when I have sinus problem, and it works. Try it sometimes...

Don't drink vinegar. I've heard that it has benefits for acid reflux sufferers, but having tried it, it didn't work. But the quantity is a teaspoonful or two, no more.

Vinegar is very acidic. What you're feeling is probably a bad case of heartburn or acid indigestion or an ulceration caused by too much acid.

There are several things you can do to help alleviate the pain:

    1) drink milk

    2) eat 2 or 3 Tums / Rolaids.

    3) put a tablespoonful of baking soda (not baking powder) in a 4 to 6 ounce glass of water and drink it.

If the pain persists for more than a few hours, see a doctor.

It depends on what type of stomach you have like a sensitive stomach or a strong stomach-but I would still think vinegar will hurt your stomach, and you know vinegar is used for most science fair projects with the volcano when you add baking soda and vinegar so I think it is most likely to heart your stomach and it smells Terrible !

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://tinyurl.im/aHMCp

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

it okay in small doses. a forth of a cup or so.. but drinking more than that at a given time, will make your stomach hurt. It also thins your blood, so you may get chills. Ive never heard anything about sinuses.
