I need help with my computer's speakers.. please?

Okay, I bought head phones for my computer that just plug into the USB port. But now everytime I unplug them so I can listen to music on my normal speakers, I can't hear anything. The speakers are completely turned on, and the light is on as if the power is on in them, but I just can't hear anything.

What do I do?

Please help.

Headphones that plug into USB constitute as a sound device.

When you plugged in the headphones, windows said "Hey, heres some new speakers so we dont need these old ones anymore."

It swapped your old speaker device out.

Dont fret, the old sound device is still there, you just need to enable it.

Youll have to do this every time you change speakers.

    Go to Control Panel>Sound

Under Playback Devices, youll see more than 1.

1 of them is your headphones, the other is the speakers.

Enable your other speakers, and sound should work through them again

Ok you may need to go into your sounds/audio devices settings in control panel and check to see if the mute button is activated. this usually happens when you disconnect usb audio inputs. just a safety pre set so that you don't blow your speakers up. anything to do with audio always check to see if its muted. check all audio settings in control panel not just sounds/audio devices settings control panel. ie I have Xear 3D config and another called USB audio config.

since you say that your power and other things are on.The only problem left can be the driver detection in your computer problem or you dont have the computer drivers.....so try it .

ALso try your speakers somewhere else not only on the computer...

    HOPE IT HELPS
