you can add a line for under $10 and there is a proration so the first month will be approximately $2o plus taxes and adm fees.

THen you need to know how many minutes the two of you will use in a month. Your VZ to VZ talk is free. BUt, you need to know the use as overages can get expensive like 30-40 cents a minutes.

You will also enter in a new 2 year contract.

I used to work for Vz. I will caution you. If you break up, you are stuck with the 2 year contract,. or you pay the terminattion fee, like $200.

Was going out with someone and she wanted similar. Thank goodness, I resisted. Do not see or talk to her anymore.

So just consider that as part of this deal.

It depends on how many minutes and data usage you will have...try the friends and family plan where you can add 10 non verizon numbers to your account and talk to them without using anytime minutes plus the 1400 minute plan has unlimited text and internet usage for about 130 a month.
