a question about my dvr not taping the last part of idol.?
i couldn't tape on my vcr the final part, which announced the winner and other things. seacrest said to adjust my dvr tues. night. what was i to do? also can i record the idol things that appeared today online? at least i could have that to save. thanks betty boop

The safest and easiest way is to schedule to record both the actual show and the show AFTER it.

I have Time Warner's DVR service and there is a recording option I can set to extend the record time from 1 minute to several hours for the selected program. Maybe your has that, too.
As far as watching what you missed, maybe you can see it on line at the TV channel's or broadcaster's web site (I don't watch that show, so I don't know who produces it).
