Down by 1, seconds left, and you spot up at the 3 pt line?

I've seen this more than once, the latest with Delonte West last night, missing (and losing the game) after a pass from LeBron.

It seems pretty pathetic that some shooters now trust their 3 pt shot more than their 2 pt shot, doesn't it?

Well guys like Delonte, their 3pt shot might be better than a 2pt. Its also the situation, you have too shoot fast because of defensive rotation. Delonte couldnt have taken a dribble or someone would have picked him up. So you have to look at the situation
