I just downlowded 'Total screen recorder'.?

The first thing it told me is to turn off Hardware Acceleration. Went to settings and tried to do that but was told I could not turn it off. It said

"Your current display driver does not allow changes to be made to hardware acceleration settings"

What do I need to do? Download another driver, and if so where and what would I choose? I am running windows vista home version.

Can anyone please advise.

Thanks.

In your situation, it probably because you are not using the right driver for your graphics card.

So first thing you have to do is finding what driver will be suit for you graphics card.

you can know what graphics card is you are using in your case. Then Google the latest version of the driver for your graphics card and operate system (some driver are design for xp, some are design for vista), then download and install it. Then to see whether you can change the setting right now.

hope it helps you.i am using total screen recorder as well!! it's good
