How common is it to still have numbness after 48 hrs. from Novicane?
Went in for a temp crown. Two days later I still have a bit of numbness and a diminished sense of taste on the right side of my tongue.

Numbness due to anesthic usually goes after few hours. Your conditiom shows that injection was given in the wrong nerve. But don't worry it will be normal again within 24 hours.
